hello
i have voluson 730 expert , when i connect 4d convex probe model RAB 2-5 machine give me this message:PROBE WITH PROBE-ID A1 NOT SUPPORTED. ON RIGHT PROBE CONNECTOR (C).
this message appear when i connect probe to any connection , buy the way this probe befor was working on same machine , but problem happen in software , after that when machine work give me this message.

You need to have the ID chip replaced in the probe. We see this problem often with this probe type. Not sure if you would be interested in sending the probe into us but we would charge $2,500 for this repair. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks
Hi, AK! I searched at the manual and I could not find the chapter that describes a place in Service Mode that you can check the Probe ID to see if it is correct. But, if you have a Service Dongle, I believe you could surf at the menus and reach the proper area and, possibly, solve the problem. Another thing is, try reinstall the SW via Linux Boot. Remember to note all the options strings, prior to start. Hope this helps, God Bless. MAC.

If your system is version 2.2.1, this probe could be reprogramed !!
