In my volusn expert 730, I can't find "Map network drive" button, which regarding to manuals should be in system Setup page under dicom tab.
My network and dicom are working properly, but I don't have "network" option in my sono view.
Hi, Najafi! You won't need to map network driver to make Sonoview working as a DICOM sender. But, you do need the DICOM option enabled with its proper alphanumeric string. And this will cost, buyable only at GE. Check on the tab 'Option', inside the System Setup area to see if DICOM is already enabled. Hope this helps, God Bless. MAC.
Hi marcelo and thanks, fortunately my Dicom option is enable and working, I can send and print. I need to map network drives for other purposes like backup.

Hum, I see... I'd need to go to some site to check at the Windows 2000/XP where to find the Map Network Driver feature. Actually, I don't know if it will be available. If you want to try, you will need to have a Service Dongle to reach Windows and, have in mind, that this kind of network connection may cause disturbances in the system. This two-way traffic could be harmful to its integrity, make it slow, too. Take care, God Bless. MAC.
