I have a problem with a GE VOLUSON 730 EXPERT (BT05.08.5.4.0).
Each time you switch to Color C or Power PD Doppler mode, the image disappears and reappears a few seconds after deactivating the C or PD mode.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem may be and how to solve it?
The test was performed with probes M12L, 4C-A, RAB4-8L
That sounds like a bad CRS board, the signal processor board. It does the Doppler processing and front end control. For a BT05/08 system, that is part number KTZ196074.
You should check the hardware in your system, because there is a way to upgrade BT04 hardware to BT05/08 software levels. A CRS4 is part number KTZ195998, which may be marked KTI195998 or just as a CRS4 on the board. AUE has a CRS4 in stock in our USA office.
