Hi! I need help, I have a voluson 730 expert and after a cleaning the stand by switch does not work propertly,
and the probes are not recognized.

Weird...
I assume stand-by switch is working properly, after cleaned up, and the Voluson began, suddenly, to show a different behaviour (probes not recognized), correct?
Prior to open the equipment, you could reinstall the SW and see what it happens. Via Linux boot, it is easy and fast, but you need to have the license key saved (written or photographed), and also the presets (in case you decide to reinstall all over), before the reinstallation.
Actually, it might be a SW issue or just a bad contact in the boards, maybe, faulty power supplies.
I'd tried the SW reinstall, first.

Yes, I turned on the equipment with the breaker switch and the stand-by button does not respond, in case I'll need sw where can I get it? And also the license key. I really appreciate your support. Thanks

What do you mean does not work properly? Is it not ligth on while the system is off? Is it displaying an error message when the probes are not recognized?

It doesn't show any error, but when the system starts I saw an assistent to install software and suddenly boots the voluson sw and the probes doesn't respond. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

I have the same problem with the same machine.
Probes are not recognized as well the Touchscreen is blank, while the machine is on. I kindly appreciate for your ideals and help.
