i have voluson 730 , bt02 , this system do not start up just writ on touch screen BOOTING , and on big screen try to start up and return from beginning i hope some body help me to start it to work
Rafael, I am trying to service my bios battery and am getting no help from the tech support, since they want to get paid to do it for me. Can you send me your service manual PDF so I can quit messing with them. rtulley@hotmail.com. thank you in advance. Pam Tulley
Some how the SBC board in our Voluson 730 (4D) does not have any battery. I looked at the youtube video as well the GE Service manual and the SBC Board shown in them are different than I have. Our machine was bought in 2001.
I would like to attach a photo of the SBC Board to this email but cannot find any option to do so.
Any help would be appreciated from any of the service engineers.
First do the BIOS check thats really well explain there. If that doesn't work then the SW load will be the next step. Let me see if I have the loading procedure.
here is video how to reload software, when it boot you have to enter the bios pass its Rudi, you have to select the system to boot with an optical device.
I have encountered a similar issue and Mr. Sanchez is likely correct. It should be easy to check however. As the system begins to boot you need to enter the BIOS settings. The system does not tell you what key to press but it is either "F1", "F2", or "Del". The best thing to do is to press each one in sequence repeatedly until the BIOS screen is displayed. Once this comes up, choose the option to "load defaults". Do this and then choose the option to "save settings and exit". The system should then reboot normally.
If this works, then the problem is definitely the BIOS battery. It is a CR2032 coin battery that is located on the SBC (Single Board Computer) inside the system cabinet. Opening the system cabinet will require opening the back of the system, disconnecting all of the cables attached to it and pulling the entire box out. Voluson did not make it easy.
i do what you said and press many times F1 , F2 , DELL but system do not go to bios , but if we press ctrl&a , system go to SCSI .
when system start up write on screen SCSI BIOS NOT INSTALLED
The "SCSI BIOS NOT INSTALLED" message is of no matter. Are you pressing the F1, F2, Del as soon as you turn the system on? Each button must be pressed separately.
hi
i enter to BIOS but i do not know what i must do , any way this system try to start but do not go on and blue screen appear written (beginning dump of physical memory
physical memory a )
so are there problem in memory?
When you are in the BIOS, there will be a selection to load the default setup. Choose that. There will then be a selection to save the settings and exit. Choose that. It will probably ask for you to confirm this (Y/N). Type "Y". The system should then reboot and hopefully come up normally. If it does, then you have only fixed the problem temporarily. The BIOS battery on the SBC will need to be replaced.
If reloading software is possible, I would try that first. Replacing anything on this system is a challenge. Everything is contained within the large stainless steel box within the base of the unit. All of the wires and cables must be disconnected from this box (mark which ones plug into where) and it must be removed from the unit before it can be opened. Make sure that all of the probes have been removed. All of the system components including the hard drive are contained within.
frend.i check your text.do you want work your system or no.i see some body say some ting that all is not curect.check step by step.1.open the back door.2.check the 6 lamp of voltag.if 6 of them is ok.if not ok and 1 or some of them be off check the pwer supplay.if is ok open the Bep and check the voltag by voltag cheker for the moder bord.if all voltag is not ok the cpp bord is de fectiv.if you have all reng of voltag and evry thing is ok the main bord i100% is defective.cheng it.

I would suggest to reload software. Just remember the BT02 systems use a boot CD to start the load procedure.

Yeah. You can try to take SBC out and clean it well. Reseat it and try again. Sometimes those boards get bad connections.

When on BIOS, you have to load optimal configuration and save and exit. After that the system might boot without problem.

One important thing you need to have when reloading SW on the system, is to have all your options listed with their keys.
