VOLUSON V730 no reference position motctrl error
April 05, 2016 08:53
Hello.
I have a problem with probe RAB4-8L for VOLUSON V730.
The error i get is "MotCtrl: No Reference Position signal!......"
I took of the body and replaced halotrons (Original honeywell) and tried to fix the position of one magnet/halotron (the bottom one).
Still the same.
The head with crystals go only to half of its "capabilities".
I dont want to disassebly if i dont have to (to fix this problem). I just get off housing for now.
If you have some knowledge about repairing this probes and help me i will be happy to help you with others repairs, softwares, manuals etc.
Hope you give me some clue...
Thankyou

We have seen this problem many times and have repaired several GE 4D probes. You cannot repair it if do not have the experience. Most probably your problem is inside the scanning head . Regards Stam
