The Radiance™ 23 is the first surgical flat panel display to deliver the benefits of wide-screen 16:10 format to the OR. Its superior HDTV capabilities - including HD-SDI and YPbPr - and sophisticated signal processing produce sharp, accurate, true, and very bright images.This display will be avalable in early 2007
The Radiance™ 23 wide-screen format enables, for example, viewing of HD-SDI surgical video, fluoroscopy, and PACS images, all at optimal resolution. The Radiance 23 is compact and lightweight enough for boom-mounting, and is easily adapted to existing Gl and surgical video carts.

STATE-OF-THE-ART DISPLAY IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES
The Radiance™ Series incorporates state-of-the-art display imaging technologies exclusive to NDS. All Radiance displays include Picture-Perfect Technology™ (PPT) eliminating jagged edges, image Lag Reduction™ (1LR) technology for the finest lag-free imaging, and the fastest video response (10-15ms) of any flat panel display. Proprietary factory color-calibration guarantees reliable, consistent, realistic image reproduction while Remofe Functionality Control (RFC) delivers complete flexibility in image source selection. The Radiance Series encompasses four models: the Radiance 1 9, in a traditional 4:3 aspect ratio, and the Radiance 23, 32, 42, which provide wide-screen 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios.
DISPLAYS DESIGNED FOR THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY
Every component of an NDS' display meets or exceeds the highest safety standards. Fanless cooling prevents the introduction of contaminants into the sterile field. A low-voltage (24VDC) external power supply may be located up to 100 feet away, removing any electrical concerns. A front-sealed, anti-glare overlay guarantees the highest level of defense against liquid ingress. Membrane-style buttons and a non-dimpled enclosure ensure foreign matter will not accumulate into voids and possibly spread contaminants.
