The Rolloscope ML (141-001) maintains all the features of the M model while adding the capacity for 33% more films. The Rolloscope ML holds 1,376 mammography films, provides the ability to view 8 over 8 of the standard 18 x 24-cm mammography films at once. A Radiologist can interpret four years of history on the same patient at one time without the distraction of handling films or adjusting masking. You can also view 6-over 6 24x 30cm films on each frame (up to 1,012), as well as 4 across of 14" x17" x-rays on 86 frames for total of 344 films.
With the One Touch System, our Rolloscope ML series maintains concentration, decreases fatigue, and saves time for the radiologist. By pushing just one button, this unit automatically adjusts to each frame’s configuration by dimming in between frames, masking to each film’s size and brightening in about 1 second per frame.
Another great feature is the Rolloscope’s specific frame memory which allows for shutter settings to be memorized for all 86 frames thus helping to maintain diagnostic focus. The person loading the films, sets the shutters to the appropriate position (depending on the number of films on each frame), the unit immediately remembers where the shutters were left – even after moving between several frames. No programming is necessary thus saving time for radiologists, as each film is masked and ready to be interpreted.
The Rolloscope ML dims and masks each time the belt advances, so there is no distraction for a radiologist as the unit does it every time and for every frame automatically. Of course within each frame the user has the roaming joystick or motorized toggle switches or pre-sets to mask shutters to any new position needed, even further down to a small (2.5" x2.5") opening and roam over the films. There is no need for a hot light.
With the highest luminance available, up to 12,000 nits, the largest film capacity, and the longest belt life (10-15 years), these units have established themselves as the new benchmark among mammography viewers.
