AMX 3 portable x-ray unit in stock that we are looking to sell immediately.
The battery will probably need replacing – after charging overnight, when turned on the unit read “recharge immediate” on the screen. When we pressed the button along the side of the handpiece, the green “ready” light came on and something in the head started audibly spinning. When we pressed the “x-ray” button on the handpiece, a yellow “wait” light came on and something inside the body of the machine clicked. We did not get a response when pressing the “field light” button on the handpiece or the head of the x-ray. We are assuming that the unit does not have enough power to run or perform normal functions.
This unit has been palletized to protect the wheel from further damage.
AMX 3 control model 46-217900-G1 manufactured Nov. 1982. The AMX 3 transformer is model 46-184857G1 manufactured Oct. 1982. The left wheel on the unit has a large chunk of rubber missing and the right wheel has some rubber missing. See pictures for details of wheel. Again, the battery will need to be replaced on this unit.
