The Bayer (Technicon) RA-1000 system is a bench top, computer controlled random access serum chemistry analyzer. The Bayer (Technicon) RA-1000 is designed to handle the increased sample volume of the hospital laboratory, large group practice, or HMO. You can choose up to 15 resident tests from a menu of over 100 methods. Features of the RA-1000 include 240 assays/hr for routine tests, 120 assays/hr for ISE electrolytes, economical machine operation, easy to use functions, versatility, proven reliability, Complete Data Management through the use of the RA-1000 Data Manager, 12 chemistries can be assigned to a reagent tray configuration and up to 10 reagent tray configurations can be stores on a disk for future use. Tests include general chemistries such as Glucose, Creatinine, Total Bilirubin, Calcium, Cholesterol, Total Protein, Magnesium and Potassium.
