Manual Resuscitator

A Manual Resuscitator (MR) is a medical device used to provide positive pressure ventilation to a patient who is not breathing or whose breathing is inadequate. It is used in emergency situations such as cardiac arrest and drowning, or in medical procedures such as intubation. Manual resuscitators come in a variety of sizes, materials, and designs, but all have the same basic components: a reservoir bag, a mask, and a valve. The reservoir bag is used to store oxygen and push it into the patient's lungs, while the mask is used to ensure a proper seal between the patient's face and the resuscitator. The valve is used to regulate the flow of oxygen into the patient's lungs.

Manual resuscitators are typically made from durable plastic or rubber and can range in price from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars, depending on the size, features, and quality of the device. Some of the most popular manufacturers of manual resuscitators include Laerdal, Ambu, and Vyaire Medical. Each of these companies offers a variety of different models and sizes of manual resuscitators, as well as accessories such as masks, valves, and reservoir bags.
