The IDN Summit is the
industry's leading "reverse expo"
-- where the buyers
are the exhibitors
The evolving landscape of the healthcare industry has spawned no shortage of perspectives on whether each of the various changes are good or bad for the future of healthcare. The IDN Summit and Reverse Expo brings together senior healthcare executives and their GPO and supplier partners to improve healthcare delivery through a more effective supply chain, which includes managing change for the best possible outcome and the chance for greater future opportunities.
With this in mind, the 2012 Spring IDN Summit & Reverse Expo will focus on a theme of "Change Brings Opportunity" when it takes place April 23-25 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, FL. The IDN Summit is partnering with renowned business educator Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University to bring in-person world-acclaimed business leadership instruction to the 2012 Spring IDN Summit.

"IDN Summit attendees are being confronted by incredible challenges shaping the very climate and culture of the healthcare supply chain," said John Kelly, CEO, Bluegrass Business Media. "Having an educational partner of this caliber contributing to the 2012 Spring educational program helps IDN Summit provide attendees with some of the information, education and insight so critical to their daily strategic thinking and decision-making processes."
Dr. Trish Gorman, academic dean of the Institute, will speak during general sessions Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 25, targeting healthcare supply chain executives with insight and interactive learning to sharpen leadership skills, gauge progress, develop organizational strategies and navigate the changing landscape of the healthcare industry.
Chuck Lauer's Thought Leadership Panel at the Summit will take place on Tuesday, April 24th, and offer considerable insight and ideas on the changing healthcare industry landscape, particularly as it relates to finding opportunities among the many changes faced by healthcare leaders today. A new feature for the 2012 Spring IDN Summit will be the interactive roundtables held during the 1:30 pm sessions of each of the five tracks. IDN Summit has focused on encouraging as much audience participation as possible and the interactive roundtables will provide further means for accomplishing this objective.
