Carmel - Three Palm Software today announced the release of the 1.7.2 version of its breast imaging workstation - WorkstationOne. This new release will be shown at RSNA 2014 in the company's booth (7610).

This release builds on the existing comprehensive support for mammography, with improvements since the last RSNA in many areas. With four years of customer experience with the existing WorkstationOne support for tomosynthesis, the company has utilized that feedback to optimize common tomosynthesis interactions, and included mechanisms that allow the system to conform to the new IHE "Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)" profile as an Image Display actor. This means that the system: generates and displays key notes for individual frames; generates and displays per-frame markup; and displays tomosysthesis CAD. User interface mechanisms are provided to allow rapid navigation of the per-frame information. Other enhancements that will be shown at RSNA include expanded printing, auto-generation of Breast Imaging structured reports (SR), expanded SR display, and secure (TLS) communications. Together, these enhancements push WorkstationOne even further ahead of the competition, making it the premier workstation for breast imaging.

WorkstationOne will also be shown on a number of partner booths at RSNA, including leading PACS and FFDM vendors, as well as the major vendors of high-resolution mammography monitors.
