Santa Clara, CA, November 18, 2015 – SST Group, a leading provider of medical disc publishing solutions, PACS software and accessories, will unveil the next generation DICOM image delivery system at the 2015 RSNA conference in Chicago, Ill., November 29th through December 3rd.

The DMC-EZ Hybrid e400 is an innovative, multi-function appliance designed to give healthcare facilities the ability to create hard copy CD, DVD and USB, as well as send images electronically to patients, referring physicians and other facilities from a single user interface. All activity is recorded in audit logs for HIPAA compliance. It is truly unique and addresses actual pain points that exist for today's CD burner user. The DMC-EZ Hybrid e400 addresses many daily use cases which require immediate image distribution and at the same time provides a path to eliminate hard copy CDs in the future.

This addition of electronic image distribution to SST Group's DMC-EZ CD/DVD burner product line is revolutionary. It provides healthcare facilities with a simple, fast and secure way to deliver DICOM images outside their own facilities ensuring HIPAA/HITECH compliance. With the DMC-EZ Hybrid e400, sharing protected health information (PHI), including DICOM images, is as simple as sending an email. The receiver simply decrypts the package using a secure password and the electronic patient file containing the PHI opens on the user's desktop.

The DMC-EZ Hybrid e400's intuitive, browser-based interface provides on-demand CD and electronic creation of DICOM studies and other PHI elements from anywhere on a network. Images, reports and EMR data are bundled with a comprehensive DICOM viewer on either hard copy media or sent electronically. The files designated for electronic distribution are encrypted and sent via secure connection. There is no enrollment required or per-study fee charged for a user to receive studies.

"The DICOM CD burner will remain a workflow necessity in any radiology department," explains Richard Murphy, President SST Group, Inc. "The DMC-EZ Hybrid e400 represents the next generation CD burner. It will allow any imaging facility to leverage its current workflow and continue to create CDs while slowly transitioning to electronic image delivery. Radiology and imaging centers replacing an existing CD burner will want to look closely at the DMC-EZ Hybrid e400, as it provides functionality that will be vital for its workflow in the next few years."
