The Nidek LM-500 delivers fast, repeatable neutralization of single-vision, bifocal, and progressive-addition lenses in a compact desktop footprint. A Hartmann sensor sampling 108 measurement points within the nosepiece captures the full lens prescription in a single 0.085-second reading, producing diopter, cylinder, axis, ADD, prism, and PD data with minimal operator alignment. A 535 nm green measurement wavelength reduces dispersion error in high-index lenses for a clean spherical-equivalent reading.
