This Pentax 9400 Laryngeal Strobe Light Source Console is being sold as-is for parts and/or repair. Comes with the Laryngeal Strobe Console and Power Cord. NO footswitch, camera, or other accessories included. The Pentax 9400 is a true stroboscopic light source used to evaluate vocal fold vibration during phonation. It produces extremely short, bright flashes of light that create the illusion of slowmotion movement, allowing clinicians to assess vocal fold structure and function with high precision.For the purposes of testing, we used the footswitch from another working unit we have (footswitch is NOT included). During testing the device powers on and the display illuminates. All buttons and indicator lights are working and I can use them to navigate menus and adjust parameters. The Halogen lamp illuminates as intended with no issues. The Xenon strobe lamp illuminates but it flashes on and off sporadically, not even and continuous, which I believe is not how it is intended to function. May be an easy fix but I am not sure.All connection ports are in good condition except one BNC connector on back of the console labeled "Audio" is broken. This should be easy to replace though. It is due to these reasons that this unit is being sold for parts and/or repair. Cosmetically this device is very nice and shows very minimal signs of wear due to previous use. Condition & Testing

This device is being sold in as-is for parts and/or repair condition. During testing, the device powers on. All indicator lights, soft touch buttons and the LCD display screen are working. I can use the buttons to navigate menus and adjust parameters.

For the purpose of testing, we used afootswitch from another working tower unit we have (footswitch is NOT included). The Halogen lamp is working perfectly. When the Xenon lamp is switched on, it flashes on and off sporadically, which I believe is not how it is supposed to function. Not sure of why this is but it may be an easy fix for the right person.

On the back panel of the console, the BNC connector labeled "Audio" is broken. This should be pretty easy to replace though. It is due to these reasons that the device is being sold for parts/repair. All other connection ports are undamaged. This unit shows very minimal signs of wear due to previous use. Overall, this is a greatunit for the right person or an amazing parts unit if nothing else.
