WARNING: CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO ARRANGE THE CABLES FOR THE
ACCESSORIES SUCH THAT THEY DO NOT PRESENT A TRIPPING HAZARD TO THE
EXAMINER OR A DANGER TO THE PATIENT.
WARNING: POSITION THE CLEARCHART 2 ON THE WALL SO THAT IT IS NOT
DIFFICULT TO OPERATE THE DISCONNECTION DEVICE (PLUG).
Note: Make sure the position you choose to mount your ClearChart 2 is within the
reach of a power outlet.
Direct-Throw: Your ClearChart 2 must be positioned at patient eye level directly in
front of the patient. The minimum test distance is 6 feet (1.83 meters) with a maximum
test distance of 31 feet (9.5 meters). Refer to the Direct Throw illustration in this
Mirror Arrangement: A first surface mirror is a useful space-saving device to increase
the patient testing distance when the room does not permit a direct-throw arrangement.
Typically, your ClearChart 2 will be positioned higher than patient eye level so that
the examiner will not interfere with the patientâ€™s view of the ClearChart 2. Arrange the
ClearChart 2 and mirror so that the ClearChart 2 can be seen by the patient through

The term of warranty on new or refurbished items is as noted on the invoice, starting from the date of original invoice. The warranty sticker must be in place and not tampered with. Warranty covers parts and labor to correct malfunctions during normal use. Warranty does not cover the following: * Tampering or altering of equipment * Abuse or neglect * Misuse or mishandling * Damaged equipment * Use of equipment for which it was not intended * Equipment that has not been properly maintained * Physical wear and tear * User error * Batteries, light bulbs and cables * Warranty is VOID if warranty sticker has been tampered with or missing If the item is deemed not to be under warranty, we will notify customer of repair charges. The customer must approve repair charges before any non-warranty repair can be performed. The customer is responsible for freight or shipping charges for sending warranty items back to us . These charges may be reimbursed after item is evaluated, at our discretion.
