This Zoll Z-Vent Mechanical Transport Ventilator is being sold as-is for parts and/or repair. Comes with the ventilator with bedside rail mount. No power supply, patient circuit, hoses or disposables included. During testing the device powers on and the screens illuminates. Once on the devices reads, "Self Check Failure" and also gives audible alarms and visual red light flashing alarms. No sure of the exact reason for the failure but may be an easy fix for the right person. The Zoll Z Vent ventilator is indicated for use in the management of infant through adult patients weighing greater than or equal to 5 kg with acute or chronic respiratory failure or during resuscitation by providing continuous positive-pressure ventilation. This device has HR, SpO2, FIO2, PIP, VT and BPM on screen monitoring capability. The internal battery is holding a charge and works to power the device when unplugged from the power supply (power supply NOT included). All soft touch buttons, dials and connection ports are in excellent undamaged condition. The bedside rail mount bracket is nice. The ventilator can also be removed from the rail mount bracket and used as a tabletop or handheld unit.(I also have 8 of these units that are fully functioning and include power supplies. The ZOLL Z Vent ventilator is indicated for use in the management of infant through adult patients weighing greater than or equal to 5 kg with acute or chronic respiratory failure or during resuscitation by providing continuous positive-pressure ventilation. The ZOLL Z Vent ventilator is appropriate for use in hospitals, outside the hospital, during transport and in severe environments where they may be exposed to rain, dust, rough handling, and extremes in temperature and humidity. With an appropriate third-party filter in place, they may be operated in environments where chemical and/or biological toxins are present. The ZOLL Z Vent ventilator is intended for use by skilled care providers with knowledge of mechanical ventilation, emergency medical services (EMS) personnel with a basic knowledge of mechanical ventilation, and by first responders under the direction of skilled medical care providers.

Condition & Testing

Thisdeviceisbeing sold as-is for parts and/or repair. During testing the device powers on and the display illuminates. After startup the device reads, "Patient Disconnect". There are also details listed on screen that read, "Check Patient Connection. Check Circuit for Loose Hose/Tube. Check Exhalation Valve. Check Patient. Replace Circuit. Manually Ventilate Patient." I dont have a lot of knowledge when it comes to these devices so this may be an easy fix, but I am not sure. When the device is on I can observe the airflow coming from the gas output port. All buttons, dials and indicator lights are undamaged and working. The internal battery is holding a charge and works to power the device when unplugged. The bedside rail mounting bracket is undamaged. The device can also be removed from the bracket and used as a hand held or table top unit. This device is in great condition and may be a come up for the right person.
