Imag/Study Transfer to View Forum Computer

October 22, 2013 06:13

Philips Easy Diagnost/Eleva
The first study of every morning locks up the system, a reboot is required and the exam is lost. After the reboot, all studies will transfer for the rest of the day. Currently a test patient is entered every morning to bypass this issue.
Any ideas on what could cause this problem? DI cabinet or configuration issues?

hi, I don't know this unit but something similar happens to me in te past with other digital unit. if this is a Digital receptor system maybe the wake up time for the detector in the mornings is wrong and the detector is not ready when the software boot up and is ready. This is why when you reboot the unit then the detector and the software boots at the same time and then is ready the rest of the day. Hope this helps...

Omar,
Thanks for your input. I'm being told that the DI cabinet is suspect and needs to be upgraded. I've been leaning towards possible configuration issue as well!
