Hi,
i have a problem for siemens somatom plus 4.
when we turn on the machine later 30 second .geting the message on screen. *can't open input device keyboard not present.useing tty for input and output*.
how can we resolve this problem.
The whole idea is the communication between host
& console is through fibre optic cable(Pls Check).The problem could be at the host board itself or at CIB connector.you may check power supply in the console box & check for any possible loose connection.These checks are to be made provided the keyboard is not faulty.

As I told you yesterday, if the keyboard gives the same message an a other system, just replace the keyboard.

the problem is the keyboard, or a loose connection of it at the computer cpu
