Amanda brings a wealth of experience from the hospitality and event management industries to her role as Sales Representative for Laser Locators. For the past 10 years, Amanda has progressively advanced in the hospitality industry. Having coordinated a variety of events, she’s worked with charities as well as managed large teams of servers for private parties. Aside from her hospitality and event management experience, Amanda is an accomplished student with undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology and a graduate degree in Biomedical Science.
As Sales Representative, Amanda manages day to day tasks in our ever busy office. She also manages logistics for Laser Locators and builds and maintains relationships with customers.
Amanda loves the outdoors and, in her spare time, travels to her family’s farm to ride horses. She also enjoys going to concerts and is a loyal Tampa Bay Bucs fan.
We are proud of Amanda for winning the 2016 Tampa Bay Woman of the Year, an award based on her continual work and involvement in the community, through the Westchase Charitable Foundation.
Steve Urueta is a Service Engineer/Vendedor and joined Laser Locators in May 2015. He services and repairs a variety of laser and diagnostic equipment at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining the Laser Locators family, Steve worked with us as a consultant over the last few years. He has an extensive background in the ophthalmic industry. Steve has worked for Bausch & Lomb Mexico where he was in charge of Technical Services for all of Latin American. Prior to Bausch & Lomb, he oversaw Technical Service for Abbott Laboratories for southern Mexico. Steve has had extensive training with Excimer lasers, Orbscans, Femtosecond lasers, as well as Yags and Argons.
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering, one year of Master’s degree in Administration and fourth year of medicine superior studies. He has completed many training programs including Axim, Cell Dyn, Simex, excimer laser, Orbscan, Millennium, Field Service and Femto Second Laser. Steve is fluent in three languages — English, Spanish and French.
Steve moved, with his family, from Peru to Tampa to join Locators Locators. In his spare time, Steve enjoys swimming and going to the beach with his family.
A 2016 CFO of the Year Finalist, Tayra has served as Chief Financial Officer of Laser Locators since 2004. In this role, she manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting; provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities and ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
In 2015, Tayra was a Finalist for CFO of the Year which was awarded by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
Tayra holds her Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a life long resident of the Tampa Bay area.
She volunteers accounting and tax preparation services for the Westchase Charitable Foundation. In addition, Tayra is actively involved with St. Lawrence Catholic Church and lends her time and financial expertise to them. Tayra also enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking and doing Crossfit.
Cliff is the Director of Service & Logistics and handles logistics at Laser Locators. In his job, Cliff inspects and services all of the laser equipment before it ever reaches the customer. His role is critical to ensure that all of the products meet the rigorous standards of Laser Locators.
Cliff is a native Floridian. Before he joined the Laser Locators team, he was in the manufacturing and logistics industry, making him a perfect addition to the team. He volunteers his time to help the Westchase Charitable Foundation and his hobbies include working out, riding dirt bikes and spending time with his daughter.
Margee Perkins, Service Administrator, joined the Laser Locators team in August 2016. Margee comes with a background in customer service and clinical ophthalmology. She is responsible for managing the service department, helping all customers with their service questions, testing and checking equipment, keeping track of all equipment and communicating the weekly tasks with the service team.
Margee was born in Arizona and moved to the Tampa Bay area at the age of three. With fourteen years in customer service and cosmetology, her commitment and strong relationships in the community help her build and maintain customer satisfaction. Prior to Laser Locators, Margee worked as a technician and clinical leader in a large multi-specialty ophthalmologist office. Her understanding of both engineer and medical verbiage allows her to communicate efficiently with both technicians and doctors to solve any customer problem with ease.
In her spare time, Margee runs her own business, as a cosmetologist at Salon Lofts. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying to keep up with her five year old son, Benjamin, fishing, and cheering on the Miami Hurricanes.
Andrew Graham, Service Engineer, joined Laser Locators in January 2016. In his job, Andrew services, tests, and repairs a variety of laser and diagnostic equipment at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida. He brings with him an extensive amount of knowledge in servicing and repairing electronics with his Associate’s degree in Science from United Education Institute (UEI) College in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining the Laser Locators family, Andrew worked in business communications repairing equipment at the component level. He, also, worked for GTE Mobile Net where he installed and repaired all cell phone lines.
Andrew was born in Jamaica, where he lived for 10 years until his family moved to Toronto, Canada. After four and a half years in Toronto, he and his family moved to Florida where they have stayed ever since. Andrew enjoys the Florida sunshine and fixing up his classic all-wheel drive truck with his son.
Terry Davidson, Sales Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Sales and Sales Department, joined Laser Locators in June 2017. In this role, she creates sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders; she books trade show and travel arrangements, she assists with inventory check-ins, she assists the sales team with their day-to-day tasks, and she assists the Marketing Director.
Terry grew up in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Growing tired of the long, cold winters, she moved with her family to sunny Tampa, Florida for 18 years. Blossoming in her career, Terry most recently moved to Palm Springs, California for one year to work for the largest vacation rental company in California as their Marketing Coordinator and Airbnb Reservation Specialist. Missing the Tampa area, she moved her family back to start working for Laser Locators.
Terry&’s years of experience as an executive assistant in engineering, management consulting, and real estate industries have made her the perfect fit for her new position on the Laser Locators&’ team.
In her spare time, Terry loves spending time with her three sons, golfing, and watching baseball; especially the Angels, her favorite team.

Designed to strengthen their presence across the United States, this initiative focuses on the LightMed brand of ophthalmic lasers. In late January, Laser Locators began its expansion efforts in St. Louis, where a training session with new sales partners served as the basis for increased sales and service of LightMed products throughout the Midwestern U.S. They will also host training sessions at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery symposium in San Diego, CA.
