DOTmed's Ron Minor interviewed exhibitors from the AAMI annual meeting held in Tampa Fla. from June 26 to 28.

More than 50 educational sessions and workshops were held this year on a variety of topics including the impact of meaningful use regulations and how biomeds can interact with hospital executives.

According to their website, AAMI was founded in 1967 to advance "the safe and effective development and use of medical technology."

Next year's AAMI annual meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas.
