Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. said Wednesday it tapped Stuart Clarkson to take the helm of its magnetic resonance business.
Clarkson will serve as director of the MR Business Unit, the Tustin, Calif.-based company said, where he will lead marketing plans while communicating with the Japanese parent company.
"With nearly 25 years of experience, Stuart has a proven track record of success in the MR industry," Toshiba's vice president of marketing and strategic development Doug Ryan said in a statement.

Prior to joining Toshiba, Clarkson worked in the MR field with competitor GE Healthcare for nearly three years. Most recently, he served as the Americas product manager of 3 Tesla MRIs, according to his LinkedIn profile.
