AP: We do compare ourselves to non-health care supply chains. We have some really sharp members who have come from industry— someone on our board, Brett Johnson, has come from Intermountain Health. We do have people from outside of health care with interesting perspectives as well.
DMBN:How would you like to see the field advance even further?
AP: I think the supply chain will always be an important part of every organization. The advancement will happen as hospitals become more sophisticated and as their outcomes end up where they need to be.
