DOTmed: Please outline the scope of this project.
Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas is making room for a third MRI unit at the hospital.

All told, it’s a $1.9 million project. Key Construction Inc. is the general contractor, and Steele Architecture is the architect. The new unit will be on Wesley’s first floor near its critical care building, which is near the hospital’s emergency room on the southwest corner of the campus.

DOTmed: What does the timeline to completion look like?
Brad Bowren, Wesley’s interim director of imaging services, says the room should be open in December, 2013.
