While the KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR mammography cassettes provide a clearer view of the target organ with access up to the chest wall, its compatibility with modern mammography equipment is ensured through the ISO standard. Its features help ensure longevity and durability, thereby reducing operational costs.

The mammography feature can be purchased from Kodak's Health Group as an option when purchasing a new KODAK CR 850/950/975 system--or added as an upgrade to an existing KODAK CR system--now or in the future. This feature is currently available in Greater Asia, Europe, Japan, Latin America and other parts of the world.


Kodak currently offers a broad portfolio of digital mammography solutions including CAD (computer aided detection) for mammography; PACS (picture archiving and communication systems) that includes a KODAK Mammography Workstation offering special display protocols and tools designed to enhance radiologists' productivity; and a laser imaging system with special software for printing digital mammography images.
