The Department of Radiology participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) - http://www.nrmp.org/. Applications for residency are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) - http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm. No additional information besides the standard ERAS application is required.
Following initial evaluation of the applications by our review committee, approximately 70 individuals are offered formal interviews. Interviews are by appointment only and are conducted in December and January.

A total of 28 residency positions are authorized, with seven to eight open positions depending on the calendar year. As part of the match process in 2004, the Department of Radiology received approximately 700 applications to fill the seven open resident positions beginning in June, 2006. All resident appointments are subject to annual review. Applications for subsequent years are considered if vacancies exist.
The application deadline for residents beginning in June 2007 is October 31, 2005.
