HCB News: What are some of the highlights of the upcoming events?
JG: Our 2016 fall conference season promises to be our best one yet. Michael Hoffman will be delivering a powerful keynote address to each audience and our educational advisory boards have lined up incredibly strong educational content for each conference. Our dinner and entertainment events will be spectacular, and our reverse expo sessions will be better than ever. We will be in Chicago for our Fall Hospital Pharmacy Conference, held Oct. 17–19, followed by our Fall Hospital & Healthcare I.T. Conference and our Fall Radiology & Imaging Conference, held concurrently Oct. 19–21.
HCB News: Are there any developments at HCP, outside of the events, that you’d like to talk about?

JG: Our entire business is about bringing providers and suppliers together at some of the best conferences in the health care industry, so most of our developments are related to our events. But we do have a new initiative that we’re very excited about. This year we founded our Digital Educational Advisory Board and launched our first series of webinars. The content of this series is geared toward our I.T. customers with a focus on security issues.
HCB News: Is HCP partnering with anyone on events? If not, is there any desire to explore partnerships?
JG: Partnership is very important to us. It’s the anchor of our company name and a key part of our mission: facilitating lasting partnerships between providers and suppliers. The health care industry depends on those critical partnerships and we take pride in our role of bringing them together. At HCP we consider each conference attendee to be in partnership with us and we actively solicit suggestions for what could make the experience of our events more productive and beneficial for them.
Within each vertical, we partner with an exceptional team of provider executives who work diligently to develop our educational content. For each conference, we partner with sponsors — including a longtime partnership with DOTmed — who truly make these events possible. Partnerships are a vital aspect of HCP conferences. We very much look forward to discovering new partnerships that will make our events even stronger.
