Pharmacy Residency Program Outline

Clinical Rotations
The residency year is divided into 12 one-month rotation experiences. The first month is a training month in drug distribution services. Residents provide drug distribution services "on-line" for six shifts per six-week period, four of which are weekend shifts.

Psychiatry Pharmacy Program Outline

The General Practice Residency focusing in Psychiatry (PGY1) will consist of core rotations in psychiatric pharmacy, as well as elective options tailored to the resident's interests. A publishable residency research project will be designed and completed by the resident. Additional opportunities to participate in research and/or clinical writing are available.

Pharmacy Practice Management Residency Program Outline

The residency is a 2-year residency program that fulfills the requirements of a PGY-1 residency and a PGY-2 residency. The successful resident is awarded a certificate for PGY-1, for PGY-2, and a Master's Degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.
