Jones is a member of the AHA section governing council for Health Care Systems. He is chairman of the Group Purchasing and Member Relations Committee of Premier Inc., a current member and former chair of the West Virginia Hospital Association Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, and a diplomate of ACHE.
Michael J. Madden is vice president of Advocacy and Development for Providence Health & Services in Seattle. He previously served as CEO of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calf., and vice president/chief executive for Providence Health & Services-Southern California Region. Madden will serve as chair of RPB nine.

Madden is a past chairman of the board of the California Healthcare Association and the immediate-past chair of the board of the Alliance of Catholic Health Care Systems. Madden is also former chairman of the board of the Hospital Association of Southern California. He is active in his community, having served as the board chairman of the Sycamores, a program in Pasadena serving the mental health needs of boys and their families. He is also a long-time board member of the Providence High School Board of Regents and currently oversees the high school's operations.
