HCB News: What sets Absolute Medical Imaging apart from other stakeholders in the mobile imaging, refurb and service marketplace?
William Hengemuhle: Our goal is not to recreate the wheel. In the current marketplace there are other vendors that provide similar services and sales solutions. This business will always stay the same, but our combined expertise within our sales and engineering departments allow us to pin down then evolve our processes to continually drive efficiency and quality. We make sure not to cut corners in anything that we do from building a mobile to managing fixed-site projects to dispatching service to our customers.

What sets us apart from our competition is the intimate way we work with our customers. We provide more than just sales and service — we serve our customers’ best interest with a consulting role. We provide complete solutions to our customers’ goals, not just give them a quick fix for a current need. When a customer opens up to us, we find that there are multiple areas that we can provide higher-value solutions that will help them reach their goals more quickly. Our current client relationships are very close, and that is the model for all of our business relationships going forward.

HCB News: According to a statement, the company takes pride in having assembled "one of the best engineering cores in the industry" — can you tell us more about that?
William Hengemuhle: Our goal was to find the best engineering talent possible inside the industry. When the principals of the company sat down to discuss our pathway to success, engineering talent and quality was one of the very highest priorities. The engineers that we’ve brought onboard are smart and flexible with an aggressive mindset, they also intimately understand the market in which we participate. Our engineers certainly have specialties, and we have made sure to diversify our knowledge-base across manufactures and modalities, but where we are able to provide even more value to our customers is by ensuring our engineers are cross-trained on multiple manufactures and modalities in order to provide efficiency and savings to our customers. Our engineers individually are incredibly competent, and as a team the hive-mind we have created is limitless.
