The study was published in Clinical Cancer Research, a journal of the American Association for Cancer Research.
The study’s senior author is Dr. Fritz C. Eilber, professor of surgical oncology and molecular and medical pharmacology at the Geffen School and director of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center Sarcoma Program. “I believe this study will significantly improve the care of sarcoma patients and highlights the importance of the Jonsson Cancer Center as it was a truly multidisciplinary effort of physician-scientists.”
