At SnapNurse, one of the things we're offering hospitals is access to preceptors who can re-skill their pool of existing nurses. This is one way to address gaps like those in emergency medicine and acute care. If a PACU nurse wants to become an operating room nurse, that may take 4 to 16 weeks, with another year of reinforcement to really hardwire those skills. Our platform can identify preceptors and highlight educational reskilling programs to all the nurses in the system.
No one company or facility can solve this crisis. It is going to take a massive collective effort and new industry partnerships to address the underlying problems. Every day we are innovating and bringing new solutions to the table to make that happen.
