In Germany, the Braunschweig technical program addresses antenna measurement techniques, a key area of interest for PTB, Germany’s National Metrology Laboratory. Joining Mr. Chen are invited speakers Mr. Lewis and Roland Moch with RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany. Speakers from PTB on the program include Thomas Kleine-Ostmann and David Ulm. The speakers will address advances in computational capabilities that allow for the application of numerical techniques such as near-to-far-field transformation and correction algorithms in antenna calibration.
There is no charge to attend these workshops; however, advance registration is required, as space is limited. "We are happy to support these workshops and share not only ETS-Lindgren’s expertise, but that of industry experts from Kiwa, PTB, and Boeing. In addition, we have a unique contribution from academia with the participation of speakers from KU Leuven and RWTH Aachen University," said Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager at ETS-Lindgren. "The partnership between industry and academia is what drives technology forward – it’s exciting to see how these contributions complement each other in the workshop technical programs. If you are near the Apeldoorn or Braunschweig area, I hope to see you at one of these workshops!”
