Five Minutes in Healthcare - Brent Dover

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | September 12, 2024
Brent Dover
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders.

Today I am joined by Brent Dover, CEO of Carta Healthcare, a company that is bringing AI to expert "data abstractors" (such as nurses and other clinicians who harvest and enter data manually from EHRs) in order to help them navigate data more efficiently.

We discuss the importance of data registries for improving the quality of healthcare in the country, and the clinical knowledge and labor involved in bringing relevant information to the top. We also talk about what it means to have "AI with a human in the loop" and how that strategy has shaped the company's technology.

We hope you enjoy the conversation. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next.
