Five Minutes in Healthcare - Dr. Jin Hyung Lee

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | July 23, 2025
Dr. Jin Hyung Lee
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders.

Today I am joined by Dr. Jin Hyung Lee, founder of LVIS Corporation and an associate professor at Stanford University, to discuss the ways her company is leveraging AI to expanding the role of EEG in the assessment of brain disorders, including Alzheimer's and epilepsy.

Dr. Lee was initially on the road to becoming an electrical engineer, but when her grandmother suffered a stroke, she switched her focus to neuroscience. That was about 15 years ago, and now she has developed a tool called NeuroMatch, which she believes could soon make a big difference in the way we assess brain disorders.
