Five Minutes in Healthcare - Chris Lowe

Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders.

Today I am joined by Chris Lowe, CEO of Nusano, a radioisotope producer with a proprietary platform capable of generating over 40 isotopes for medical and industrial applications. I recently visited with Nusano at the SNMMI annual meeting and was impressed by the company's unique offering.

There is a useful analogy the company uses, which is that they produce the flour but they don't bake the cake. When it comes to radioisotopes, that is a helpful way of thinking about what the company brings to the table.

During the interview, Chris and I talk about the company's state of the art production facility in Utah, where they're currently generating about 12 isotopes and counting. We also discuss how the company makes sure it isn't competing with its customers in the pursuit of innovative new therapies and applications.

We hope you enjoy the conversation.
