Rick McDaniel is the manager
of DOTmed's auction department
Rick McDaniel has joined DOTmed.com, Inc. as manager of the auction department.
McDaniel will manage DOTmed's auction sales, auction managers, and regional staff and work closely with U.S. hospitals. He will oversee DOTmed's managed auction service, which helps hospitals to liquidate assets and get the highest return for their medical equipment.
"I'm really looking forward to growing DOTmed's business while helping hospitals to get out of the used medical equipment business and get the most for their equipment," McDaniel said. "Hospitals are looking for every dollar they can find and many are sitting on valuable inventory that DOTmed can turn into a real asset."

McDaniel previously worked for Terumo Interventional Systems, a manufacturer of medical devices for the cardiac cath lab, radiology, and OR settings.
He brings a 25-year career in medical sales and business development including a significant regulatory background.
