Dave Johnson, Vice President of Development for Genesis Mobile Partners, LLC is retiring September 30. Johnson, 63, is a 43-year medical-imaging professional who has led the mobile division since 2002.
He began his long career as a biomedical engineer in the U.S. Army. After leaving the service, Johnson was hired by Philips Medical as a Field Engineer specializing in cardiac cath labs. Over 21 years with Philips he held additional positions of Field Service Supervisor, District Service Manager and Zone Manager. After leaving Philips, Johnson worked for Comdisco Medical and MedAssets prior to joining Genesis Medical Imaging.
He and his wife Terri have three grown children and five grandchildren. "I am going trout fishing at my place in Huntington Beach [California]," he said of his retirement plans. "And back into my antique cars--I buy and sell 1955-1975 Chevys, look for good cars, and do a little mechanical work."

While Dave tinkers, business goes on.
Al Iglehart takes
over for Johnson
Al Iglehart, an industry veteran who has worked for Siemens and Philips will replace Johnson, heading up the company's mobile division and business development. Similar to Johnson, Iglehart's career began in the military. He started as an Army X-ray technician in 1972. He then moved through a variety of leadership roles with Siemens, Philips, R-Squared and Manchester Equipment Company. Most recently, he worked for a refrigeration company, KKT Kraus.
"We cannot thank Dave Johnson enough for his leadership of the mobile division," President and CEO Robert Dakessian said. "Genesis is fortunate in luring Al to join other recently hired industry leaders, Wayne Tschirn and Cliff Hooper, to take Genesis a step beyond. Al is another pro to help us grow by putting the customer first and providing next-generation service."
The CT and MRI supply and service company recently hired Tschirn as Vice President of Operations. Hooper is Vice President of Logistics.
Meanwhile, you may still have a chance to say goodbye to Johnson. He plans to attend this year's RSNA, his 40th in a row, "that is if I can tear myself away from the beach and back to Chicago in November," he said.
