DMS Topline Medical, a provider of reconditioned patient monitoring equipment, ultrasound, parts and equipment rentals, is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Mohs to Biomedical Services Coordinator. Mohs's previous title was Biomed Technician III at DMS where he has worked for three years.

The Topline division refurbishes and provides parts and support for medical equipment, specializing in EKG machines, defibrillators and monitors. Customers include end-user hospitals and third-party biomedical companies.

"With today's economy, many hospitals aren't ready to buy new equipment so we are seeing a big upswing in refurbishing and parts," he said. "People are biding their time until they can purchase new monitoring systems so they're keeping legacy units running as long as they possibly can."
DMS Topline Medical performs on-site biomedical services for medical facilities as well as in-house refurbishing of equipment. In addition to supervising the operational support staff, Mohs will also develop and build relationships with third party repair sources for used parts and equipment.

Mohs has over 15 years of field service, technical services and biomed technician experience. He is a graduate of Northwest Technical College, Bemidji, Minn. with an electronic technician diploma.
