Glenn Scales, Past President of the North Carolina Biomedical Association took some time to explain the NCBA show to DOTmed News and recap highlights of last month's event.

Scales said there were 500 attendees at the show this year, including BMETs, students and vendors.

The NCBA featured 25 educational programs targeted to the BMET community including management development, technical expertise development and more.

Scales is also a Patient Safety Specialist for the Clinical Engineering department of the Duke Healthcare System.
