McKesson has released its Bright Note Technology, which looks like a paper chart and allows the physicians to stay in the note to manage their workflow.
"The ability to quickly access and document patient information and generate critical data is expected to be essential to clinical reporting and, ultimately, their ability to apply for incentive payments," says Henriksen. "Bright Note Technology intuitively works the way the physicians already work, reducing practice disruption and training time and driving enhanced care quality and improved physician profitability in less time."

Final Thoughts
A lot can still happen in the next few months, but regardless of the final regulations, one thing is clear: It's essential that all health care professionals start investigating EHRs and learning what's best for them now and for the future.
