From April 20 - 22 at Walt Disney World Swan Resort, the 2010 Spring IDN Summit reverse expo will bring together senior health care executives and their top GPO and supplier counterparts in an effort to find ways to improve health care through better supply-chain management.
"We will be discussing the current state of health-care delivery and future trends that will affect the health care industry," said Josh Morita.

One of the big reveals at the meeting will be the release of results from a recent IDN Summit survey, which picked the brains of hundreds of health care executives on a range of important topics in the industry. A session discussing the official results is scheduled to be led by Mike Langlois, former chief of supply chain for Ascension Health.
In addition, Chuck Lauer, former publisher of Modern Healthcare, will be moderating a CEO panel discussion featuring four health-systems CEOs.
"A lot will relate to health care reform, and Chuck will be getting their take on current issues and opportunities," Morita said.
The meeting will feature five exclusive multi-session tracks titled Financial Operations, Proven Models, Strategic Management, Market Intelligence and Pharmacy, which is designed to help leaders in the industry control their costs and find ways to make supply chain materials management more efficient.
This year, IDN Summit will be partnering with the Disney Institute, a training and leadership development foundation. Representatives from the institute will present case studies in health care brand loyalty, value-chain management and achieving sustained success in health care through today's turbulent economy. And for those who need a little green, IDN Summit will also be hosting a golf tournament on the Disney resort grounds.
