At HIMSS10 conference in Atlanta, DOTmed News met with Dr. James Peake, senior vice president for the health industry for CGI Federal.
In the video, Dr. Peake describes a wide range of the company's capabilities, such as outsourcing initiatives in India and several investments in rural areas of the U.S. that create local jobs.
Dr. Peake talks about CGI's work with health information exchange (HIE). He addresses some of the underlying challenges of establishing an HIE, the system's opportunities and its many benefits.
