Jeff Barber, an account executive at Barrett Moving & Storage and a 20-year veteran of the shipping and transport industry, died from unknown causes on Thursday.

Barber, 43, worked for the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Barrett for 20 years.

"I had the good fortune to spend the two days prior to his death on a sales call with him out in California," said Bill Johnson, vice president and general manager of Barrett. "I've never seen anybody dial in with an individual like Jeff did. His personality went so far."

Barber is survived by his wife and two children.
