James Mathis of DITEC Dies
by Heather Mayer, DOTmed News Reporter | May 19, 2010
James "Jay" Mathis, 61, an instructor of diagnostic imaging with Ohio-based DITEC passed away Monday.
He served as a DITEC instructor for eight years, where he was held in high regard by his students, said Manny Roman, the company's president, who met Jay in 1991.
"He had a rare combination of motivation for students and the ability to get them involved," Roman said.
Mathis taught thousands of people during his time as an instructor, Roman said. "His students respected and admired him and will never forget him."
