DOTmed will tour Korea's
National Cancer Center July 8
DOTmed News has been honored to be invited to South Korea July 8, along with mainstream broadcast media outlets, to tour the National Cancer Center, which offers advanced proton beam therapy.

The NCC, in Seoul, is emerging as a leading destination for affordable proton beam therapy, offered since 2007. The media trip is aimed at
promoting NCC as a medical tourism location. The forum is a sponsored by the Korean Tourism Organization and KMI International.

Proton beam therapy, also available at seven U.S. centers, is an advanced form of radiotherapy delivered by a particle accelerator cyclotron that aims radiation at the target tumor with unprecedented accuracy. The approach is used to treat many types of cancers including head, neck, spine and prostate.

Attendees at the forum will include international media outlets and proton therapy experts. Watch DOTmed News for coverage.
