NCCN Guidelines now on mobile phone app

Evidence-based practice
guidelines in oncology
now available on smartphones
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) has made its NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology available on mobile phones. Physicians can now access the evidenced-based practice information anywhere, anytime through free NCCN Guidelines mobile apps for the iPhone and Android.

Clinicians are increasingly using smartphones to access medical information and bring faster, more informed decision-making to the point of care, the network noted in announcing the new apps. Since the NCCN Guidelines are updated continually, the technology is particularly helpful.

The NCCN Guidelines App for iPhone and Android is free to download through the iTunes Store and Android Market. To use the NCCN Guidelines apps, you must be a registered user on NCCN.org. There is no fee to become a registered user on NCCN.org and to view the NCCN Guidelines. Visit NCCN.org for details.
