Equipment maintenance management company The Remi Group LLC. said Monday president Ron Calhoun is leaving to become a managing director of Aon Corporation, an insurance and consulting firm. Calhoun will be replaced by Brent Howison, TRG's chief operating officer since 2007.

"As we close 2010 with our biggest production year in the history of the company, relative to both gross written and net growth, we are all very excited for Ron and look forward to working with him as he assumes his new role with Aon," TRG CEO Dan Schuster said in a statement.

Calhoun joined privately held TRG in March 2008, according to his Linked-In page.
Howison was one of the founding members of 12-year-old TRG, the Charlotte, N.C.-based company said.
