Image noise?
Check the 48-volt
power supply.

There are many causes for image noise on a CT scanner. GE VCT* scanners are especially sensitive to noise.
One of the main components that could be causing the trouble is the 48-volt rotating power supply located on the gantry. Check this first and also check the DAS backplane and cables.
